Expectations of Cabo Verde Properties:

What can one expect from Cabo Verde properties? Better to forget the images which may come to mind, and instead imagine what Cabo Verde properties might be like if dreams came true.

Imagine a paradise island which nestles the Cabo Verde properties amongst cobbled streets which harbour shops museums, home to arts and music quite unique to the world away from the world. A complex and exciting mix of cultures, drawing their inheritance from Portuguese and African backgrounds, with Brazilian, Italian and Spanish influences stirring interest into the picture.

In this ideal world, this paradise isle, each and every one of the Cabo Verde properties stands proudly facing the crystal blue azure sea, as Atlantic waves caress the golden white sands of the near endless miles of beach will roll around the island, home to a myriad of wildlife and plants which are not seen anywhere else in the world, having been so long established in this remote paradise.

Now imagine that this island is not the only home for these Cabo Verde properties – but that it is one of ten such islands, all nestled just 500 kilometres of the western coast of Africa, will all that brings to offer.

With so much of paradise surrounding you, it would be easy to imagine that the cost of investing in Cabo Verde properties would be astronomical, yet, surprisingly, this is not the case. Although not part of Africa, being originally Portuguese and more recently granted full independence, Cabo Verde properties are categorised economically with Africa, and Africa itself has moved on in terms of growth in a hugely significant, yet quiet manner.

Investment in Cabo Verde properties has not been widely realised as so significant, yet over the past two decades Africa has experienced economic growth far in excess of anything previously achieved. In 2007 alone it is estimated that the rate of growth will reach a staggering 6%.

With the recent introduction of a major airport on Santiago Island, and tourist interest soaring, with many people wishing to rent  Cabo Verde properties, owning one of these incredible properties offers tremendous opportunities, and many buy-to-let availabilities are being made available.

The chain of islands, technically referred to as an archipelago, is made up of seven islands which are inhabited, and three which are still classic, desert islands. The entire collection of islands is being referred to by some as 'the new Canary Islands', but significantly, the difference is in the price. For the time being, at least.

Today, there can be said to be very few virgin development opportunities, especially in such a superb location, yet investors are becoming increasingly excited as the area is set to become one of the top holiday destinations for the UK and much of northern Europe. There can be no doubt that with the demand for, and the purchase of significant numbers of  Cabo Verde properties, the local tourist industry will benefit, the investors will rake in capital growth far in excess of most other property investment opportunities, and holiday makers will be able to enjoy what is one of the most recently discovered jewels of the Atlantic.
